Waiting for the promised land: Ethiopia

Shortage of fertile land combined with a persisting drought has driven tens of thousands Ethiopians from their homes in Harraghe province in the east of Ethiopia. On their way to a new, better life they stranded in an old army base called Shawe in Bale province. While waiting for new land, life continues for good and mostly for bad on these small square kilometers.
